This is a stainless steel Ebel Type E Chronograph 1214254. It has a black rubber composite dive strap with the repetitive Ebel logo "E" and a stainless steel double folding deployment clasp, and a domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. It has a screw down winding crown, tear-drop-shaped polished chronograph push buttons, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 8 screws, and engraved around the perimeter with "TYPE E-STAINLESS STEEL-SWISS," and a serial number. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, curved hooded lugs, additional stainless steel "E-design" link bracelet, and rounded bezel with polished hour striations, are polished/brushed. The dial is blue with skeletonized steel sword hands with luminous pointer tips, a center sweep needle-shaped chronograph hand with a counter balance, applied faceted polished steel "boat-shaped" baton hour indices with luminous squares, and an applied steel Arabic numeral at 12 o'clock. It includes an outer luminous minute/one-fifth seconds chapter ring, and a white luminous Arabic numeral tachymetre scale to 500 UPH around the perimeter flange. There are three round blue recessed subsidiary dials with luminous white markers, polished steel hands, and Arabic numerals, including a running small seconds register at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 6 o'clock, and there is a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at the 3 o'clock position. It has a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC) rating, and it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. It has a 48-hour power reserve at full wind, and the 9mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Ebel Type E Chronograph 1214254 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Ebel caliber 137 caliber (base Lemania 1352) movement. It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes and Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's constructed with 27 jewels, an anti-shock device, a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance, a shock absorber device, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Ebel Type E Chronograph 1214254 was produced from 2000 to 2009.
