This is a vintage c. 1970's 18k yellow gold Patek Philippe Calatrava Clous de Paris 3520. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18k yellow gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a pull out winding crown and a solid screw down case back. The 32.2mm diameter solid two-body case, straight lugs, and stepped hobnail bezel, are polished. It has a silver dial with black painted Roman numeral hour markers and baton hands. It's water resistant to 25 meters/80 feet, and it has a power reserve of 43-hours at full wind. The 5.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Patek Philippe Calatrava 3520 has a mechanical manual winding Patek Philippe Caliber 177 movement. It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark. It's constructed with 18 jewels, five bridges, 112 components, a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic Gyromax balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, and a shock absorber device. It includes a self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The Patek Philippe Calatrava 3520 was introduced c. 1965.
