There is a screw-down crown with a crown protector, and a transparent screw-down sapphire display case back. The 38mm diameter solid three-body case, straight lugs, and flat stepped bezel are polished and brushed. It has a black Tropical composite dial, applied yellow gold Arabic numerals hour markers and luminous white baton indices. It has a central sweep second hand with luminescent tritium-coated baton hands. The date aperture window is at 3 o'clock. It has a 45-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 120 meters/385 feet. The 8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5065J-001 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Patek Philippe caliber 315/190 movement that's rhodium-plated, with fausses côtes embellishment. It has a Patek Philippe stamp, and it's constructed with 30 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic Gyromax balance that's adjusted to temperature and 5 positions. It has a self-compensating free sprung flat balance spring, and an 18k gold rotor. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 mph (4 Hz). The Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5065J-001 was introduced in 1997, and production was ended in 2006.
