This is a rose gold Ulysse Nardin Marine Chronometer 1846, reference 266-33. It has a rubber strap with a double deployant clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a solid screw-down case back secured with 6 screws. The 42mm diameter solid three-body case, reeded angled bezel, and integral downturned lugs are polished. The dial is black with applied markers and raised round luminous dot indices. It has spade hands with luminous inserts in the tips. There is a subsidiary small seconds dial inside of which is a circular date aperture window at 6 o'clock marked with a red 1846. The date is underneath a cyclops magnifying bubble in the crystal. There is an up-and-down power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock, and it's water resistant to 200 meters/660 feet. It's a Certified Official Swiss Chronometer (COSC), and the 11mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Ulysse Nardin caliber 26 movement is rhodium-plated. It's constructed with 28 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a micrometer regulator.
