This is a stainless steel Panerai Luminor Marina PAM050. It has an integral stainless steel link bracelet with a folding double deployment clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coatings. It has the protected lever-activated screw down winding crown for adjusting under water, and there is a solid screw down case back engraved with "OFFICINE PANERAI-STAINLESS STEEL-300M-FIRENZE 1860-AUTOMATIC," and a serial number. The 40mm cushion-shaped solid case, straight screwed lugs, bracelet, and flat angled bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is black with luminous baton hour indices, Arabic numerals at the half-hours, and luminous baton hands. There is a circular internally magnified date aperture window at 3 o'clock, and a subsidiary black running small seconds register is at 9 o'clock with luminous markers and indicator hand. It includes a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC) rating, and it has a 42-hour power reserve at full wind. It's water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet. The 15.2mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Panerai Luminor Marina PAM0050 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Panerai caliber OP III (base ETA/Valjoux 7750) movement. It's rhodium-plated with oeil-de-perdrix embellishment, and Cotes de Geneve stripes on the bridges. It's constructed with 21 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, an Incabloc shock absorber mechanism, and a Glucydur monometallic balance that's adjusted for temperature and 5 positions. It has a self-compensating flat balance spring and a micrometer regulator. It includes a personalized oscillating weight; the mechanism vibrates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).

This Panerai Luminor Marina PAM0050 was introduced in 2006 in a limited edition of 700 examples.
