This is a stainless steel TAG Heuer Carrera 300 SLR Chronograph CAR2112.FC6267. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel deployment clasp, and a scratch resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal. It has a screw down winding crown, "pushrod" chronograph push buttons, and a solid screw down case back engraved around the perimeter with "CAL. 1887-100 METERS-MERCEDES-BENZ 300 SLR-SWISS MADE SINCE 1860-CAR 2112-1," and a serial number. In a crosshatched center medallion is a depiction of the 1952 Mercedes 300 SLR in high relief, with "LIMITED EDITION-HEUER, and the edition number. The 41mm diameter solid three-body case, straight lugs, and flat bezel, are polished/brushed. It has a brown sunburst guilloche dial, luminous applied faceted baton hour indices, luminous orange square hour markers around a luminous white minute/one-fifth second scale, and steel baton hands with luminous inserts. There is a steel center sweep chronograph hand with a circular counter balance and an orange needle tip, and around the perimeter flange is a white luminous tachymeter scale to 400 UPH. It has twin concentric guilloche brown subsidiary dials with steel rims, white markers and Arabic numerals, and orange indicator hands, including a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 12 o'clock, and there is a 12-hour totalizer with a date aperture window inside at the 6 o'clock position. It has a 50-hour power reserve at full wind (40 hours with the chronograph continuously running), and it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. The 15.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes and Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's engraved "TAG Heuer - Calibre 1887 Swiss Made". It's constructed with 39 jewels, a shock absorber device, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The TAG Heuer Carrera 300 SLR Chronograph CAR2112.FC6267 was introduced in an edition of 5000 examples produced from 2010 to 2012. It debuted in 2010 at Baselworld to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Mercedes 300 SLR victory in the 1952 Carrera Panamericana, the same race that gave the Heuer Carrera its name.
