More about Panerai PAM302 Luminor Marina White Dial Manual 44MM

This is a 1999 stainless steel Panerai Luminor Marina PAM302. It has a composite rubber strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a solid screw-down case back engraved with "OFFICINE PANERAI – STAINLESS STEEL – 300M – FIRENZE 1860," the serial and edition number. It has the patented completely protected winding-crown with security lever for winding the watch under water. The 44mm diameter cushion shaped solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and flat angled bezel are polished/brushed. The dial is white with black Arabic numeral hour markers, luminous dot hour indices, luminous baton hands, and a perimeter minute scale. There is a subsidiary running seconds dial at the 9 o'clock position with a luminous hand, and it's water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet. It has a 42-hour power reserve at full wind, and the 14.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Panerai Luminor Marina PAM302 has a mechanical manual winding Panerai caliber OP II movement. It's rhodium-plated, with special Panerai embellishment. It's constructed with 17 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a monometallic Glucydur balance, and a self-compensating flat balance spring.

The Panerai Luminor Marina PAM302 was produced in an edition of 3000 examples in 1999.
