This is a stainless steel Jaeger LeCoultre Grande Reverso Duo Date, Q3748421. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel deployant buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The 30mm by 48mm solid five-body tonneau-shaped art deco case, linear textured bezel, and integral lugs are polished. The front dial is silvered with a guilloche-textured center, minute divisions, black painted Arabic numeral hour index markers in a surrounding plain reserve, and gunmetal blued hands. There is a rectangular small seconds subsidiary dial at 6 o'clock with a guilloche center and the Arabic numerals in a plain reserve. It has an elongated date sector at the 12 o'clock position. The reverse dial is sandblasted black with a guilloche day/night indicator sub dial at the six o'clock position, and luminescent white painted Arabic numeral hour and baton index markers with luminescent filled silver hands. The first time correction option is a traditional hour/minute type when the crown is pulled out to the last position, correcting both time zones. The second provides an incremental change of the hour hand on the silver dial face without adjusting the minute setting or the entire time on the black reverse dial. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, with a 48-hour power reserve. The 10.7mm thick case, dials, and movement are all signed. The manual winding Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 986 movement is rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 19 jewels, 183 components, and a shock absorber mechanism. It has a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). This watch is limited to an edition of 1500 examples.
