More about Tank MC Silver Dial SS Automatic

This is a stainless steel Cartier Tank MC, W5330003. It has a leather strap and a stainless steel deployant buckle. It has a scratch resistant sapphire crystal and a sapphire display case back secured with 8 screws. The 34.3 mm by 44 mm tonneau-shaped art deco two-body solid case and fixed bezel are polished and brushed, with a faceted octagon-shaped crown set with a synthetic blue spinel. There is a date aperture window at 3 o'clock, and a small seconds sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position. The dial is black with painted white Roman numeral hour markers, silvert toned sword-shaped steel hands, and minute markers around an inner ring. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and it has a 40-hour power reserve at full wind. The 9.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The automatic self-winding Cartier in-house Caliber 1904-PS MC movement has Cotes de Geneve pattern embellishment, and a shock absorber mechanism. There is a ceramic regulation system, a double barrel, stop seconds for precision time setting, and an airspring regulator. Cartier debuted the first Tank wristwatch in 1917, with four lines with two parallel shafts made from gold or platinum, and their signature sapphire cabochon on the top of the winding crown. This refined version is the culmination of 93 years of evolution.
