More about Railmaster 1957 Trilogy LIMITED EDITION
This is a 2017 stainless steel Omega Railmaster 1957 Trilogy 220.10.38.20.01.002. It has a stainless steel link bracelet with a folding deployment clasp, two extra straps with a strap replacement tool, and a domed acrylic crystal with anti-reflective treatment. It has a screw down winding crown, and a solid screw down case back engraved with "RAILMASTER – 60TH ANNIVERSARY – LIMITED EDITION – CO AXIAL CHRONOMETER." The 38mm diameter solid three-body case, gently curved lugs, bracelet, and angled bezel, are polished/brushed. It has a matte black dial with vintage cream-colored lume on the recessed dart hour markers, and there are white luminous Arabic numerals at the quarter hours. It has silver-toned steel broad arrow hands with luminous inserts, a steel center sweep second hand, and there is a luminous minute/second scale around the perimeter. It's a Certified Master Chronometer, approved by METAS, and it's resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. It has a 55-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 60 meters/200 feet. The 12.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Omega Railmaster 1957 Trilogy 220.10.38.20.01.002 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Omega caliber 8806 movement. It has a Co-Axial escapement, and it's rhodium plated with Geneva waves in Arabesque on the bridges and platinum rotor. It's constructed with 35 jewels, a shock absorber device, an Omega "Si 14" free-sprung silicon balance spring, and automatic winding in both directions. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 25,200 vph (3.5 Hz). The Omega Railmaster 1957 Trilogy 220.10.38.20.01.002 was introduced in 2017 in a limited edition to 3557 examples. It's a 60th Anniversary tribute to one of three classic timepieces released in 1957. This Railmaster is based on the original antimagnetic watch engineered for people who worked in close proximity to electrical fields in the fifties. It captures the 1957 model's simple style, but it's powered by the new Master Chronometer 8806 engine that resists magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss.
