More about Seamaster Planet Ocean Co-Axial Blue Dial Pyeongchang 2018 Limited

This is a stainless steel Omega Seamaster Co-Axial Planet Ocean 522.32.44.21.03.001. The solid three-body case is polished and brushed, with a blue and red ceramic unidirectional rotating divers’ bezel, with the Liquidmetal® diving scale. There is a domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on the dial as well as the display case back, and a screwed-down crown. The dial is blue with luminous baton index hour markers, and Arabic numerals at 6, 9, and 12 o'clock. The rubber strap has a matching stainless steel deployant buckle, and it's water resistant to 600-meters/2000 feet/60 bar. It has a helium escape valve at 10 o'clock, and a 60-hour power reserve at full wind. The date aperture is at 3 o'clock. The OMEGA automatic Co-Axial calibre 8900 movement is rhodium-plated, with a free sprung balance, twin barrels mounted in series, and automatic winding in both directions for reduced winding time. The bridges and the oscillating mass are decorated with exclusive Omega Geneva waves in arabesque, and the case, dial, and movement are all signed. This is a certified chronometer (COSC). OMEGA was celebrating its long, impressive maritime legacy with the launch of its Planet Ocean line in 2005. This watch pays homage to OMEGA’s dive watch heritage.
