More about IWC IW324404 Ingenieur Dual Time SS / SS

This is a stainless steel IWC Ingenieur GMT IW324404. The solid 43mm diameter case is polished and brushed, with a screw-in crown. It has a fixed inner 24-hour ring with a multiple time zone hand. The dial is white with blue accents in applied baton hour index markers, and Arabic numerals at 12 and 6 o'clock. The hour hand is adjustable in one-hour TZC (time zone corrector) steps. The current local time is displayed on the dial; however, on the outer 24-hour ring, the hand with the red tip indicates a second time, and there is a date aperture window at 3 o'clock. The Skeletal hands have luminous inserts, and the date aperture is at 3 o'clock. It has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, and a solid case back. It's water resistant to 120 Meters, and it has a 42-hour power reserve at full wind. The 13.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This IWC Ingenieur GMT IW324404 has a mechanical automatic self-winding IWC caliber 35720 movement that's rhodium-plated. It's constructed with 27 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance, and a shock absorber device. It includes a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a central hacking seconds mechanism.

The Ingenieur collection of automatic winding watches debuted in 1955, with classic five-lug Gerald Genta oyster-style case models. The IWC Ingenieur GMT IW3244042007 was introduced in 2007.
