It has a screw down winding crown and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 4 screws, and engraved "JAEGER LECOULTRE – 1000 MASTER CONTROL HOURS," and a serial number. The triangular 8-day power reserve meter has gold engraved markings and is visible through the crystal. The 41.5mm diameter solid three-body case, gently curved lugs, and flat angled bezel, are polished. The dial is matte silver with applied polished steel dart hour markers, luminescent pips on the hours, applied steel Arabic numerals at the quarter hours, and there is an outer perimeter black minute scale. It includes faceted polished steel sword hands with luminous inserts, and there is a big double date aperture window between 7 and 8 o'clock. A jour & nuit (day and night) indicator arch is between 1 and 2 o'clock, and at 7 o'clock is a running small seconds subsidiary dial with polished steel concentric radial guilloche, crosshair markers, and a blue indicator hand. It's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, and the 11mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Eight Days 160.84.2H has a mechanical manual winding Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 877 movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes and a sunray cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 25 jewels, 217 components, blued screws, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, a swan neck micrometer regulator, and 2 spring barrels. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Eight Days 160.84.2H was introduced in 2004 in an extremely small edition of only 88 examples.
