There is a screw-down exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 5 screws and engraved with, "Glashutte Original – Navigator – 5 ATM – Stainless Steel," and the serial number. The 38mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and stepped bezel are brushed. The black dial has luminous steel dauphine hands, a center sweep second hand, luminous Arabic numeral hour markers, and luminous baton indices. There is a luminous minute/second track around the perimeter, and a date aperture window is at the 3 o'clock position. It has a 40-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet. The 9mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Glashutte Original Senator Navigator Date 39-11-07-07-04 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Glashutte Original caliber GUB 39 movement that's rhodium plated and fashioned from ¾ plate with fausses cotes and Glashutte stripe embellishment. It's constructed with 48 jewels, an Incabloc shock absorber protector, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, a swan-neck regulator, and the rotor has a 21K gold segment. The movement oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz).
