More about H. Moser & Cie 1341.0102 Endeavour Perpetual Calendar 1 18k Rose Gold EXTRA DIAL

This is an 18k rose gold H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Perpetual Calendar 1 1341.0102. It has a leather strap with an 18k rose gold deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The winding crown includes a double pull mechanism that can adjust the patented flash date both forwards and backwards. There is an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 4 screws, with the polished perimeter engraved with "H. MOSER & CIE," and a serial number. There is a corrector in the left case band at 9 o'clock for adjusting the leap year, with a wheel that's visible on the movement through the case back. The 41mm diameter solid two-body case, downturned lugs, and concave cupped bezel are polished. The dial is sunburst blue with applied rose gold baton hour markers and gold leaf-shaped hands. There is a 168-hour, 7-day down/up power reserve indicator at the 9 o'clock position, and a subsidiary running seconds register is at 6 o'clock. There is a date aperture window at 3 o'clock, and there is a small gold arrow hand in the center that indicates the month by pointing at the 12 hour indices. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 11.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Perpetual Calendar 1 1341.0102 has a mechanical manual winding H. Moser & Cie caliber HMC 341.501 movement. It's rhodium plated with cotes de Geneve embellishment on the bridges. It's constructed with 28 jewels, a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 6 positions, and a shock absorber device. It includes a Moser dual spring barrel, Moser teeth for all wheels and pinions, an original Straumann hairspring with a stabilized Breguet overcoil, and a hardened gold pallet fork and escapement wheel (there is an interchangeable escapement module to make servicing easier). It has a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting, and the movement oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (2Hz).

When this watch received a full service at the factory in April of 2017, the former owner requested that the dial be changed from the original matte black to the current sunburst blue. The original black dial with applied rose gold markers is included in the sale of the watch, along with the service paperwork from Moser documenting the change.
