This is a 1999 stainless-steel Rolex GMT Master II 16710. It includes an integral stainless-steel Oyster bracelet with a folding Oysterlock safety clasp. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case is polished and brushed, with a red and blue aluminum graduated and knurled bi-directional "Pepsi" bezel, a scratch resistant sapphire crystal, a protected screw down Oyster Triplock winding crown, and a solid screw-down back. The bezel measures a second 24-hour time zone with a red 24-hour hand with a large luminous arrow tip. The dial is black with luminous baton, round, and triangular hour index markers, and luminous steel Rolex "Mercedes" type hour and minute hands. It includes a steel "lollipop" center sweep second hand with a luminous circular indicator and a round counterbalance. There is a date aperture window at 3 o'clock with a Cyclops magnification lens bubble. It's water resistant to 100 meters/ 330 feet, and it's a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC). It has a 50-hour power reserve at full winding and the 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Rolex GMT Master II "Pepsi" 16710 has a mechanical automatic winding caliber 3185 (based on the Rolex caliber 3135) movement with the additional adjustable 24-hour GMT hand. It's rhodium plated and it's constructed with 31 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a monometallic balance adjusted to cold, heat, and 5 positions, and a self-compensating Breguet balance spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The Rolex GMT Master II "Pepsi" 16710 was unveiled in 1955 and has been continually updated. The Pepsi color scheme has become iconic.
