This is a 950 platinum Blancpain Transparence Tourbillon 2825A-53BDA. It has an alligator leather strap with a platinum Blancpain deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a screw down winding crown with the Blancpain logo and a crown guard, a corrector for the date at 8 o'clock on the left side case band (and an engraved "Blancpain,") and there is an exhibition sapphire display case back engraved with "LEMAN – SERIE LIMITEE ," and an edition number. The 38mm solid three-body case, straight scalloped lugs, and stepped bezel, are polished. The completely open-worked dial exhibits the fausses cotes and oeil-de-perdrix embellished dial plate, with luminous hour marker pips and applied faceted white gold baton indices, and the one-minute flying tourbillon aperture is at 12 o'clock. The two large date wheels intersect at 6 o'clock, and there is a 7-day up/down power reserve arch at 9 o'clock, with a white gold indicator hand. It has skeletonized white gold baton hands with luminous triangle pointers, and around the perimeter is a black minute/second scale. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and it has a 7-day power reserve at full winding. The 12.4mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Blancpain Transparence Tourbillon 2825A-53BDA has a mechanical automatic self-winding Blancpain caliber 6925A movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes and oeil-de perdrix embellishment, and it's constructed with 35 jewels, 293 components, a straight line lever escapement with a tourbillon regulator with polished steel arms, and a monometallic Glucydur balance with a gold adjustment screw adjusted to 5 positions. It includes an anti-shock device, a self-compensating flat balance spring, a skeletonized and engraved rotor, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).

The Blancpain Transparence Tourbillon 2825A-53BDA was introduced in 2005 in an extremely limited edition of only 27 examples.
