It has an alligator leather strap with a stainless steel double deployment buckle, and a domed anti-reflective scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a pull out winding crown, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with four screws, and engraved with "BAUME & MERCIER – CLIFTON – SWISS – 35 JEWELS – 65717 – SWISS – 50M – STAINLESS STEEL," and a serial number. The 39mm diameter solid two-body case, curved lugs, and flat angled cupped bezel, are satin/brushed. The dial is black sunburst satin with applied steel teardrop hour indices, applied steel Arabic numerals at the even hours, and a white perimeter minute scale with luminous white Arabic numerals every five minutes to 60. It has steel dauphine hands, a quick set date aperture window at the three o'clock position, and there is a black subsidiary dial with white markers and a steel indicator hand at 6 o'clock. It's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, it has a 38-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 9.4mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Baume & Mercier Clifton 10053 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Sellita caliber SW260-1 movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's constructed with 31 jewels, a single spring barrel, an Incabloc anti-shock device, and a Nivaflex flat hairspring. It includes a ball bearing mounted rotor, a stop seconds device for precision time setting, and a monometallic Glucydur balance. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Baume & Mercier Clifton 10053 was introduced in 2013.
