More about B1 Blue Dial Steel

This is an AISI 316L stainless steel Breitling B1 A78362. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel Breitling tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coatings. It has a screw down winding crown with a push button in the tip, a corrector for the date function in the left-side case band at 10 o'clock, and ovoid chronograph push buttons. There is a screw down case back with a "rotor blade" embellishment, a center medallion with "BREITLING – 1884," and it's engraved with "CHRONOGRAPHE – CHRONOMETRE – MANUFACTURE EN SUISS – 50M," and a serial number. The 44mm diameter solid three-body case, straight lugs, and knurled bidirectional rotating flat bezel with engraved Arabic numerals every five minutes to 60 where there is a luminous pip. The dial is blue with luminous steel hands, white luminous Arabic numerals on the quarter hours, and luminous square hour indices around a railway-style minute/second track, a tachymeter to 70K, and a blue E6B slide rule scale. There are two digital apertures with backlighting that display the second time zone, a countdown timer, two alarms, and a perpetual calendar with the month, day, and date. It's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, and the 16mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Breitling B1 A78362 has an electronic superquartz Breitling B78 battery movement, that's standardized for premier accuracy. It was introduced in 2002, and produced until 2007.
