This is a Titanium Girard Perregaux Ferrari 360GT Chronograph 8028. It has an alligator leather strap with a Girard Perregaux titanium tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has round chronograph plunger-style push buttons, a screw-down winding crown, and a solid case back secured with 7 screws, and engraved with "MANUFACTURE GIRARD-PERREGAUX," a silhouette of the 360GT, and an edition number. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and flat angled cantilevered titanium bezel are brushed/polished. The dial is black carbon fiber with a yellow/black/red Ferrari stallion logo at 12 o'clock, and red recessed subsidiary dials. It has steel baton hands with needle points and luminous inserts, a luminous center sweep chronograph hand with a circular counter balance, and around the perimeter is a white tachymeter scale to 1000 UPH. There are luminous white Arabic numeral hour markers that glow green in the dark, and a date aperture window is between the 4 and 5 o'clock positions. The red subsidiary dials include a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour register at 6 o'clock, and there is a running small seconds indicator at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant, and it has a 42-hour power reserve at full wind. The 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Girard Perregaux Ferrari 360GT Chronograph 8028 has a mechanical automatic Girard Perregaux caliber 2280 movement. It's rhodium-plated, and it's constructed with 57 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a hacking seconds device for precision time setting. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Girard Perregaux Ferrari 360GT Chronograph 8028 was introduced in 2000 in a limited edition of 360 examples.
