This is a platinum Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph 3970P-019. It has an alligator leather strap with a platinum folding deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has 4 correctors on the band for adjusting the calendar, and a screw down winding crown with the Patek logo. The 36mm diameter solid three-body case, stepped bezel, fluted lugs, and screwed-down transparent sapphire display case back are polished, as are the two round pushbuttons for the chronograph and perpetual calendar. The dial is glossy black with applied hour index markers, white gold baton hands, a perimeter minute/one-fifth seconds track with Arabic numerals every five seconds, and a center sweep chronograph hand. It has a minute counter and leap year indicator at the 3 o'clock position, a combination moon phase and date subsidiary dial at 6, a combination subsidiary seconds and 24-hour register at 9 o'clock, and day and month aperture windows at 12. It's water resistant to 25 meters/80 feet, and there is a 60-hour power reserve. The hallmarks on the sides of the lugs are all fresh and clear, and the 12.9mm case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph 3970P-019 has a manual winding Patek Philippe caliber 27-70 Q (base Lemania 2310) movement that's rhodium plated, with a beveled and Cotes de Geneve finish, fausses côtes embellishment, and it's stamped with the Patek Philippe Hallmark. It's constructed with 24 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a patented Patek Gyromax balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 8 positions, and a self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring and overcoil. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (2.5Hz). The Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph 3970P-019 was introduced in 1987.
