This is a stainless steel Nomos Ahoi Datum, reference NO551. It has a black textile strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a screw-down exhibition sapphire display case back, secured with 6 screws, and engraved with "GESCHUTZTES MODELL AHOI – EDELSTAHL – WASSERDICHT BIS 20 ATM" (Geschutztes Model Ahoy – Stainless Steel – Water Resistant To 20 ATM), and the serial number. It has a screw-down winding crown braced with angled protectors. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, angled lugs, and rounded bezel are polished. The dial is white silver-plated with black Arabic numerals at the even hours, stick indices, and luminous squares around a minute scale. The Rhodium plated hands have blue Superluminova inserts, and there is a small seconds recessed subsidiary dial at the 6 o'clock position with a red-lacquered hand. A date aperture window is also at 6 o'clock. It's water resistant to 200 meters/660 feet, and it has a 43-hour power reserve at full wind. The 10.64mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Nomos in-house caliber Zeta movement is Glashütte three-quarter plate. It's rhodium-plated with Glashütte ribbing and NOMOS perlage. It's constructed with 26 jewels, Glashütte stopwork, a bidirectional winding rotor, and an Incabloc shock protection device. It includes the Nivarox 1A balance spring that's adjusted to six positions, a stop-seconds mechanism, tempered blued screws, and a ratchet and duplex wheel with Glashütte sunburst embellishment.
