Vintage Tudor Monte Carlo Chronograph 7149/0, stainless steel on a stainless steel bracelet, manual wind Valjoux 234 movement, grey dial with black subdials and orange accents, date with cyclops at 6 o'clock, chronograph, screw-down Oyster crown and pushers, acrylic crystal, fixed external tachymeter bezel, lume on the original dial and hands has faded to a beautiful cream color, 843XXX serial number (circa 1976), diameter: 40mm. Outstanding Collector Condition with original Tudor box, hang-tag, and original warranty papers dated February 1976.

This is a c. 1976 vintage stainless steel Tudor Monte Carlo Chronograph, reference 7149/0. It has an integral stainless steel link bracelet with a double deployant clasp, and an acrylic crystal. It has a solid screw-down case back engraved with "Original Oyster Case by Rolex," and a Triplock screw-down Oyster winding crown protected by a crown guard. It has screw-down chronograph pushbuttons and a fixed flat bezel with a tachymeter scale to 500 UPH. The dial is grey with twin black subsidiary dials with orange accents, including a small constant seconds register at 9 o'clock, and a 45-minute chronograph dial at the 3 o'clock position. There is an outer 1/5th seconds scale with 5 minute/second red Arabic markers. It has an aperture window for the date underneath a Cyclops magnification bubble at 6 o'clock. It has Luminous steel baton hands, and an orange chronograph hand. The 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical manual winding Valjoux 234 movement is rhodium-plated. It's constructed with 17 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance and a self-compensating flat balance spring.
