It has a pull out conical-shaped winding crown, and a solid case back secured with 4 screws, engraved with "CARTIER – ROADSTER – AUTOMATIC – STAINLESS STEEL – WATER RESISTANT 330FT/100M – SWISS MADE," and a serial number. The 46mm by 45.6mm solid curved two-body case, hooded lugs, and flat, stepped art deco-style bezel coated with ADLC, are polished/brushed. The dial is silver Opaline, with the outer field patterned with concentric guilloche stripes. It has black Roman numeral hour markers around an inner railway-style minute/second scale, luminous steel sword hands, a center sweep seconds hand, and there is a trapezoidal date aperture window at the 3 0'clock position. The secret Cartier signature is in the VII. It has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and the 11.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Cartier Men's Roadster W6206018 has a mechanical automatic Cartier 049 caliber (base ETA 2892-A2) movement. It's rhodium plated with "oeil-de-perdrix" embellishment, and it's constructed with 21 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance. It includes an anti-shock device, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a micrometer regulator. It also has a hacking seconds device for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Cartier Men's Roadster W6206018 was introduced in 2001.
