This is an extremely rare 18K rose gold Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar 3941R. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18K yellow gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It includes a screw down winding crown with a crown guard, and there is a corrector on the left-side case band at 9 o'clock for adjusting the date. There is a half-hunter snap down exhibition sapphire display case back, and the 36mm diameter solid three-body case, gently curved lugs, and stepped bezel, are polished. The dial is silver with applied faceted "boat" shaped gold baton hour indices, gold dauphine hands, and a perimeter dot minute scale. It has three recessed silver subsidiary dials with black markers, Arabic numerals, and gold/blued indicator hands, including a combination day/24 hour indicator at 9 o'clock, a moon phase and 31-day radial calendar at 6 o'clock, and there is a month/leap year register at the 3 o'clock position. It has a 48-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to The 9mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar 3941R has a mechanical automatic Patek Philippe caliber 240Q movement. It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's stamped with the Poinçons de Genève seal. It's constructed with 27 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic Gyromax balance that's adjusted to heat, cold isochronism and 5 positions. It includes a shock-absorber device, a self-compensating flat balance-spring, a mobile stud bearer, and a 22K gold micro-rotor mounted on ball bearings. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar 3941J was introduced in 1985, and it was produced until 2006.
