It has fancy Ulysse Nardin steel hands with luminous inserts, and there is a black up/down 42-hour power reserve subsidiary dial at 12 o'clock with a white railroad-style scale, white and red markers, and a steel indicator hand. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
