More about Master Reveil Silver Dial SS / SS
This is a stainless steel Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Reveil 141.8.97. It has an integral stainless steel “a mailles” bracelet with a double deployant clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There are two winding crowns including one for the time/date, and a second crown adjusts the alarm using the revolving alarm disk in the center indicated by a gold arrow. It has a solid case back secured with 4 screws, with the gold Master Control logo in high relief in the center. It's engraved around the perimeter with "JAEGER LECOULTRE," and the water resistant fish symbol. The 38.5mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, bracelet, and angled bezel are polished. The dial is two-tone silver with steel Dauphine hands with luminous tritium inserts, a center sweep seconds hand, applied steel dart indexes, and applied luminous yellow dot hour markers around a perimeter minute/second scale. There are applied steel Arabic numerals at 6, 9, and 12 o'clock, and a steel-rimmed date aperture window is at 3 o'clock. It has a 45-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet. The 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Reveil 141.8.97 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 918 movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's constructed with 22 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
