This is an 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe Calatrava Chronograph 5170J-001. It has an alligator leather strap with a matching 18K yellow gold deployant clasp, and rectangular push buttons for the chronograph/stop watch. It has a scratch resistant sapphire crystal, and a screw-down exhibition sapphire display case back. The 39mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and fixed sloped bezel are polished and brushed. The dial is white with yellow gold baton hands, applied yellow gold baton hour indices with Roman numerals at 6 and 12 o'clock, a 60-minute/1/5 second outer track, and a pulsometer scale on the outermost ring. It includes a 30-minute subsidiary dial at the 3 o'clock position, and a 60-minute sub dial at 9 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and it has a 65-hour power reserve at full wind with the chronograph disengaged. The 8.5 mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Patek Philippe Calatrava Chronograph 5170J-001 has a mechanical manually wound Patek Philippe caliber 29-535 PS movement that's rhodium-plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's stamped with the Patek Philippe seal, and it's constructed with 33 jewels, 269 components, and a shock absorber mechanism. There is a straight-line lever escapement, a patented Patek Gyromax balance that's adjusted for cold, heat, isochronism, and five positions. The mechanism oscillates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
