More about Master Control Chronograph SS Black Dial

This is a stainless steel Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Chronograph 1538470. It has an alligator leather strap with a JLC stainless steel deployment buckle, and an anti-reflective scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It includes a fluted signed pull out winding crown, rectangular arched chronograph push buttons, and there is a solid case back secured with 4 screws, and it's engraved with "JAEGER-LECOULTRE – 5 BAR – SWISS MADE," a serial number, and the 100-hour master control stamp. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, gently curved lapidated lugs, and flat angled bezel, are polished. The dial is black with applied faceted dart hour indices and an applied steel Arabic numeral at 12 o'clock, surrounded by an outer white minute/fraction-of-a-second scale, with a perimeter white pulsometer scale to 200 PPM. It includes faceted polished steel and sandblasted sword hands with luminous inserts, a blued center sweep chronograph seconds hand with a wedge-shaped counterbalance, and there is a steel-ringed large date aperture window between 4 and 5 o'clock. It has three recessed black subsidiary dials with brushed black steel rims and guilloche centers, white Arabic numerals and markers, and steel indicator hands, including a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 9 o'clock, a 60-second running small seconds register at 6 o'clock, and there is a 30-minute chronograph counter at the 3 o'clock position. It has a 65-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 50-meters/165 feet, and the 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Chronograph 1538470 has a mechanical automatic self-winding JLC caliber 751A-1 column wheel chronograph movement. It's rhodium plated, with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's constructed with 39 jewels, a KIF anti-shock system, 277 components, twin barrels, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a free-sprung monometallic Glucydur balance with weight screws around the rim, vertical coupling, a cantilevered balance cock, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Chronograph 1538470 was introduced in 2011, and as with all JLC watches, it has been tested for 1000 hours (41 days) before leaving the factory.
