This is a stainless steel IWC Ingenieur IW380701. It has an integral stainless steel bracelet. The solid three-body case is polished and brushed with a protected screwed-down winding crown and case back. It has a soft iron inner case to protect the mechanism from magnetic fields, and a flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The dial is white with applied luminescent rhodium-plated and faceted baton index hour markers, and luminous baton hands, with luminous dot hour markers and an outer minute/seconds track. There is a central sweep hand with a red needle point and a counterbalance. It has hacking seconds and a date display with a crown-activated rapid advance function, and around the perimeter reheat is a black Arabic numeral tachymeter scale to 300 UPH. It's water resistant to 120 meters (12 bar), and it has a 42-hour power reserve when fully wound. It has a COSC certification (Certified Official Suuperlative Chronometer), and the case diameter is 40 mm. The 15mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This IWC Ingenieur IW380701 has a mechanical automatic self-winding IWC caliber 30110 movement that's rhodium-plated. It's constructed with 21 jewels and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).

This IWC Ingenieur IW380701 was introduced in the 2000's. The first Ingenieur automatic winding watch debuted in 1955.
