This is a stainless steel Longines Heritage Classic Chronograph 1946 L2.827.4.73.0. It has a leather strap with a matching stainless steel tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. It has a push pull signed winding crown and ovoid chronograph push buttons. There is a polished snap down case back engraved with "EFC0 – LONGINES – THE LONGINES HERITAGE CLASSIC – ALL STAINLESS STEEL – SWISS MADE – WATER RESISTANT – L2.827.4," the winged hourglass logo, and a serial number (the EF Co stands for Ernest Francillon & Compagnie, the original name of Longines). The 40mm diameter solid round three-body case, angled lugs, and thin, stepped bezel, are polished. The dial is white with painted black Breguet-style Arabic numeral hour markers, surrounded by a perimeter black minute/second chronograph scale with Arabic numeral every five seconds/minutes to 60. There are twin white recessed subsidiary dials with black Arabic numerals, markers, and blued indicator hands, including a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 9 o'clock, and there is a running constant small seconds register at the 3 o'clock position. It has flued feuille leaf hour and minute hands, and there is a blued center sweep chronograph seconds hand. It has a 54-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 13.2mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Longines Heritage Classic Chronograph 1946 L2.827.4.73.0 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Longines caliber L895.5 (base ETA caliber A31.L21) chronograph movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's constructed with 37 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement with a silicon balance spring, and a shock absorber system. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Longines Heritage Classic Chronograph 1946 L2.827.4.73.0 was introduced in 2020.
