This is an 18K white gold A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Homage to Walter Lange Jumping Seconds 297.026. It includes an alligator leather strap with an 18k white gold tang buckle, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has a signed screw down winding crown, and an arched rectangular push button at 2 o'clock for starting and stopping the sweep seconds hand. It has an exhibition sapphire display case back secured by 6 screws and it's engraved with "A. LANGE & SOHNE – LIMITED – GLASHUTTE I/SA," and four hallmarks. The 40.5mm diameter round solid two-body case, curved lugs, and flat angled bezel, are polished/brushed. It includes a silver dial with black painted Arabic numeral hour markers, blued dauphine sword hour and minute hands, and a blued center sweep jumping second hand with a diamond-shaped open counterbalance. There is a black perimeter railway-style minute/second scale, and there is a silver subsidiary dial with a black railway-style running constant small seconds scale and a blued indicator hand at the 6 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 30 meters, it has a 60-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 10.7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This A. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's constructed with 36 jewels, 253 components, heat-tempered blued screws, a swan neck regulator, a straight-line lever escapement, and a shock absorber system. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Jumping Seconds 297.026 was introduced in 2017 in an edition of 145 examples, which is a reference to the number of years since the company's founding in 1845 and its re-founding in 1990. The reference number of 1924 is for Walter Lange's birth year.
