More about Nomos 130 Ludwig Neomatik First Edition SS

This is a stainless steel Nomos Ludwig 130 Neomatik First Edition. It has a shell cordovan strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a pull out winding crown and an exhibition sapphire display case back engraved with "LUDWIG 130, neomatik 1st edition". The 36mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and thin rounded bezel, are polished. The dial is silver with black Roman numerals (Nomos uses "IIII" instead of "IV") at the even hours, black baton indices, and black baton hands. There is a perimeter railroad-style minute scale, and a recessed silver gray subsidiary running small seconds dial with a red hand is at 6 o'clock. It has a 43-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. The 7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Nomos Ludwig 130 has a mechanical automatic self-winding in-house Nomos Caliber DUW 3001 "Neomatik" movement. It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes and Glashutte rib embellishment and Nomos perlage. It's constructed with Glashutte three-quarter plate, a single spring barrel, 27 jewels, tempered blued screws, a bi-directional winding motor, and an Incabloc shock protection system. It includes the NOMOS swing system, a stop seconds device for precision time setting, a monometallic Glucydor balance, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
