More about Perpetual Calendar 5041 Tonneau 18K White Gold RARE

This is an 18K white gold Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar, 5041. It has a leather strap with a matching white gold deployant buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The 35mm by 42.5mm solid two-body tonneau-shaped case, enlarged flat bezel, and downturned lugs are polished/brushed. It includes a transparent Snap-on exhibition sapphire case back. The dial is black with applied white gold Breguet Arabic numeral hour markers, white gold moon-style hands, and an outer minute track with white dot indexes. There is a subsidiary 24-hour dial with the days of the week at 9 o'clock, a month sub dial with leap year indicator at 3 o'clock, and a date dial with the moon phases at 6 o'clock. It's water resistant with a 46-hour power reserve at full wind, and the 9mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Patek Philippe caliber 240Q movement is rhodium plated, with fausses cotes embellishment, and the nickel-finished lever movement is stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark. It's constructed with 27 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a patented Patek Philippe Gyromax balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, a self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring, and a 22K gold micro-rotor. This watch was made in a limited edition of only 30 examples.
