More about RGM "Corps of Engineers" SS Luminous Dial 38.5MM

This is a stainless-steel RGM "Corps of Engineers" 151-USA. It includes a leather strap with a stainless-steel tang buckle and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has a pull-out signed fluted winding crown and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 8 screws and it's engraved with "RGM WATCH CO. – REF. 151-USA – THREADED BEZEL," and a serial number. The 38.5mm diameter solid round two-body case, curved lugs, and threaded convex bezel, are satin/brushed. It has a white "Grand Feu" (glass fired) enamel dial with large vintage luminous Arabic numeral hour markers surrounded by a railway-style black minute/second scale with Arabic numerals every five seconds to 60. It includes blued "Cathedral" hour and minute hands with vintage luminous fill and a blued center sweep second hand with an arrow counterbalance. It's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, it has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 10.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This RGM "Corps of Engineers" 151-USA has a mechanical automatic self-winding caliber ETA 2892-A2 movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve and perlage embellishment, and it's constructed with 21 jewels, a shock absorber system, and a monometallic balance. It includes an Etachron fine adjustment system with an index and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The RGM "Corps of Engineers" 151-USA was released in 2017, a slightly smaller version of the 801-COE, and it's based on the design of early 20th century pocket watches of the WWI Corps of Engineers.
