More about Vintage Submariner Matte Blue Dial No Date "Snowflake" WOW

This is a vintage circa 1976 stainless steel Tudor Submariner "Snowflake," 9401/0. It has a folded link 93150 Tudor Oyster bracelet with 308B endlinks and a double deployant clasp, and a domed acrylic crystal. It has a solid screw-down case back and a Triplock winding crown protected by a crown guard. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and blue bi-directional rotating bezel with decompression times are polished/brushed. This is the harder to find no-date version. The dial is the rare "snowflake" matte blue with luminous square, baton, and triangular hour index markers, and the original luminous steel skeleton baton hands. The center sweep seconds hand and hour hand have diamond-shaped pointers adding to the snowflake appearance, and there is an outer seconds/minute track at the perimeter. It's water resistant to 200 meters, and the 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Tudor/Rolex caliber 2750 is rhodium-plated. It's constructed with 17 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, and a self-compensating flat balance spring.
